6 days after signing a then world record fee transfer of £80m from Manchester united to Real Madrid in June 2009, Ronaldo partied in Las Vegas and got involved with U.S Model Kathryn Mayorga.
Should I say he made a big mistake in his life having sex with the then 25 year old American Model which he now claims was a consensual agreement between both of them.
Signing such a world record fee and being so famous at that time, Cristiano Ronaldo should have totally avaoided it knowing U.S laws are very strict with such rape cases and they will stop at nothing till they hunt him down.
Well he was still a young 24 year old with all the fame and money, so partying wild was just a normal thing anyone will do at that time.
Am I justifying him for what he did?- No
Am I saying he did or didn't rape her? - Only time will tell.
We all know a person is innocent until otherwise proved guilty in court.
We all do not know what transpired in the penthouse at las Vegas, but since its got to do with a rape case…its now beginning to look messy.
I fear for CR7 and the brand he has struggled painstakingly to build over the years with hard work and discipline.
I fear for all the recent revelations and reports coming out now on this CR7 rape case.
I fear one of the GOAT of modern football is facing rape scandals and people who face such know it affects the psychological, emotional well being of any individual.
Ask the 2 Bill of American sex scandal and they will tell you.- Bill Cosby is now serving term even at 80, while Clinton narrowly escaped the Lewinsky scandal.

But these coming days will be very interesting.

And with this #MeToo worldwide movement, Ronaldo should thank the stars if he goes free in this case.
If found guilty,its life imprisonment with the right to parole only after serving 10 years in a U.S federal prison.
