Is Virat Kohli (2016) better than Sachin Tendulkar (1999)

Sachin is the better of the 2 (though Virat’s ODI batting average & his superb chasing knocks 100’s gives him an edge over Sachin but Sachin was ahead than Virat in Test cricket, I love both of them despite being a Pakistani, Whenever Sachin used to bat against us (Pakistan), I remember of Pakistan winning over India BUT just like every other 1.2 billion Indians, I was like “Sachin MUST SCORE A 100 …. Sachin MUST SCORE A 100” Now EVEN TODAY, I have a similar feeling towards Mr. Virat Kohli).

• Sachin has faced some of the world’s greatest bowlers in the cricket history be it Sri Lanka’s spin bowling wizard Muttiah Muralitharan , Australian leg spin bowling wizard Shane Warne to even Pakistan’s fast swing bowler Wasim Akram & Australian fast bowler Brett Lee whereas Virat was not as lucky as someone fortunate like former batting greats like India’s very own Sachin (or even West Indies’ Brian Lara , Australian Ricky Ponting , Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara , Indian Rahul Dravid , or even South African Jacques Kallis) to face some of the equally best bowlers / counterparts of the batsmen in the game of cricket.

• Sachin is few of those gifted men in the game of cricket (along with India’s Rahul Dravid , Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan , Pakistan’s Mohammed Yousuf , and many more) who are complete gentlemen in the game (totally justify the phrase of cricket being a ‘gentlemen’s game’) never embroiled in controversies , scandals , etc…….
