What current NBA player has the most unique skillset? Why?

I firmly believe that the current NBA player with the most unique skillset is James Harden. Many will argue that Harden does not have a truly unique skillset, but I will further illustrate my point:

James Harden is mostly known for his lethal step back. Every defence in the league has suffered at least once from this signature move. It is really tough to defend against his step back even though many defenders expect him to do it any time soon when he is the ball handler. He seems to have mastered this move at a really high level and is able to perform it no matter what. Below you can see one of “Harden’s all-time greatest step back shots!” , which was not only unexpected, but the game winning shot as well back in 2015.

Furthermore, his step back creates a lot of space between him and the defender and hence, enables him to have an open shot despite being locked down by the defender previously. Here is an example:

What is ,also,really useful for him is his “crossover moves”. He might not be the best at it, but they are good enough to make his step back virtually unguardable. He is actually calm while dribbling the ball under the legs and suddenly he just crosses his opponent over and shoots the ball to make an unbelievable 3 pointer! I bet that everyone remembers this special moment:

I would also like to add something that might not be truly unique, but Harden does it in a unique way for sure: the “euro step”. People like Dwayne Wade and others can of course do it. But to my mind, Harden has taken this move to a whole new level. He can perform a euro step at any given time , supposing he is near the opponent team’s rim.

Needless to mention that James is adept at drawing shooting fouls. He can create contact due to his body type and strength that allow him to be physical. Whenever his defender tries to lock him down he will take advantage of the fact that he is close enough for him to be sent to the line for 2 or 3 free throws.

For these reasons, I consider James Harden one of the greatest offensive players and I firmly believe that he has one of the most unique skillsets currently in the NBA.

Of course there are players equally talented that have unique skillsets as well such as Kevin Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo , but Harden has the most spectacular one in my opinion. Fear the beard!
