The Real Madrid star is a great shooter, with a surprisingly nice stroke for a 19 year old. He can shoot from virtually anywhere. However his shooting percentages are not representative of that mainly because the EURO league count half court shots as normal shots.Anyhow, his shooting will progressively get better in the NBA.

As a teenager, Luka Doncic has already established himself as one of the best ball handlers in the league. He can manoeuvre in tight spaces and rarely loses the ball. In addition, he is an expert at crating his own shot, whether its on an isolation, a pick and role, you name it. This makes him especially dangerous as he’s a great shooter from outside.

He has great court vision:

As a teenager, Luka Doncic is the facilitator for a big team in the second best league in the world. He can see everyone on the court and loves to pass it to the inside for easy buckets. His flashy passes are a great momentum booster and crowd igniter. On the down side, there are times where he gets carried away with the passes and ends up making the wrong play. But overall, he is a confident ball handler who demands the ball.

He has insane basketball IQ:

Luka possesses great knowledge of the game and calculated decisions which makes it hard for me to believe he’s 19. He knows exactly what play to make, how and when to make it. His decisivenes will be an important trait to have while in the NBA.

His defence is passable; he knows how to hold his ground against players of all sizes and he is very active on the perimeter, which can annoy his opponents.

Ultimately, a player like Luka Doncic is hard to pass by, with his great shooting and ball handling ability along with his knowledge of the game while being a versatile 6′8 guard, it is hard to pass a player like Luka.
