Like this fan, 166 million people of Bangladesh loves this man -Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team. A crazy fan of Mashrafe who violated the security policy of field to meet with him during Bangladesh Vs Afghanistan ODI international match. Mashrafe tried to save his fan from security official, calm down the situation, talked with his fan and returned him to the stadium peacefully.
He is the only cricketer who missed highest amount of matches due to knee, ankle, leg injuries and surgeries. For this reason, he had to retire from test Matches. His doctors were sure that he will not able to come back to the international cricket after severe injuries.
He faced 10 operations due to several injuries during his career. But he did not lose hope. Injuries snatched his valuable moment and achievement from his career, but one thing injuries did not take from him that is his confidence. He came back after every injuries and operations successfully only to play for Bangladesh ignoring his severe physical condition.
Mashrafe born in middle class family in rural area of Narail, Bangladesh. Despite having several limitations and modern facilities, he got chance in Bangladesh national cricket team with consistent effort and proved himself as a high-performer. He is the medium pace bowler and highest wicket taker of Bangladesh cricket. Besides cricket, Mashrafe completed his bachelors degree from jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
His sportsmanship is fascinating. He always respects senior cricketers. Mashrafe congratulated “Little-master” and“God of Cricket” Sachin Tendulkar after reaching a milestone of 100th century.
Mashrafe is the most successful and best captain in Bangladesh Cricket History. He always advocates to give opportunity to young players. He knows how to guide young cricketers and take right decision in the stress situation of field. Basically, he faced plenty of challenges and failures in life which made him a strong person in life.
Famous Australian orthopedic surgeon Dr. Young who did the surgery of Mash and he was highly impressed to see the comeback of Mashrafe despite having multiple injuries at several times. He always gives example of “Mashrafe” to young Cricketers for getting back to Cricket after injuries.
Mashrafe like players come once in a lifetime. What I like most about Mashrafe is that he is a really good person and he is a really good hearted person. He is charitable and really cares for his people, cares about his team and as a country Bangladesh should be enormously proud of Mashrafe.
