Who do you think are the good contenders to reach the final of cricket world cup 2019

England
I think England playing at home will be one of the favorites to win the tournament. They seem to have all their bases covered at the moment. They have strong batting lineup with the likes of Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales, who go after the bowlers from the outset.
Ben Stokes is a quality all-rounder who can certainly the complexion of a game with bat and ball. He is no.1 all-rounder at the moment and will be crucial to England chance of winning their maiden World Cup.
Jos Buttler is the best finisher at the moment. He has so consistent and looks in the form of his life. Buttler is miles ahead of the likes of Dhoni, Miller and Marsh and has managed to achieve across all three formats this year.
England’s bowling attack has lot of a variety with leg-spinner Adil Rashid and off-spinner Moeen Ali in the lineup. Mark Wood, Liam Plunkett and David Willey are all different bowlers that provide value to England’s bowling department.
The only thing that can undo their progress is the slow weary surface. Since World Cup 2019 will be a one month competition, pitches might be lower and slower and favor teams like India and Pakistan. Remember Pakistan’s game against England at Cardiff in last year’s Champions Trophy where a slow surface proved to be their undoing. So on a sticky surface, India or Pakistan must hold an edge over England.
India
Next on the list is India with their dominant batting lineup. Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are premier players for the side in limited-overs cricket. At the moment, India’s major worry is their frail middle-order, which has been big letdown in the past 12 months. Players like Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina have not done enough with the bat.
So Lokesh Rahul and Ambati Rayudu will need to raise their game and solve the middle-order problem currently hampering Indian team at the moment.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya will be crucial for India in the next year’s World Cup. He is certain a match-winners who can change the complexion of the game in space of few overs.
Kuldeep Yadav might be player of the tournament in Next year’s World Cup. Left-arm chinman has proven to be handful in conditions like England and South Africa. Yadav will be lethal at the fag end of the competition with pitches likely to more assistance to the spinners.
Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jaspreet Bumrah are quality players in the bowling department.
Pakistan
The next on the list is Pakistan, who are always been dubbed as a mercurial side. You can never count out green shirts as they have knack of doing well in big competitions. Their current form has not been up to the mark but 2019 Cricket World Cup is going to be different ball-game altogether.
Players like Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malilk can do a decent job for the side in the batting department. Their bowling has always been superior and will once hold the key to chances of winning their second World Cup crown.
Mohammad Amir, Junaid Khan, Usman Khan Shinwari and Shaheen Shah Afridi are quality pace options for the side in the competition.
New Zealand
The Blackcaps will be fourth on the list as favorites to win the competition. New Zealand made history in the previous edition by playing their maiden World Cup final against Australia. Kane Williamson is certainly the best player in the world cricket alongside Virat Kohli and Joe Root.
Ross Taylor, Martin Guptill and Colin Munro are premier players for Kiwis in the batting department. They also possess decent bowling attack and have good spinners like Mitchell Santner, Jeetan Patel and Todd Astle.
I expect team like Afghanistan and Bangladesh to be dark horses for the competition. I feel that Australia wont qualify for the last four as their recent one-day form has been woeful to say the least. South Africa also have their issues in the knockout stages and lack experience in many areas. They dont look a settled unit.
So, I expect England, New Zealand, India and Pakistan will be my four contenders to win 2019 Cricket World Cup.
