Why is Lebron getting better as he ages?

Well it depends what you define as better. According to LeBron himself, “he’s aging like fine wine”, and this statement is true in several ways. Here are a couple of reasons as to why this phenomenal player has experienced very little drop-off in his effectiveness:
  • He is a freak of nature:
How can a man in his 15th season posterize a grown-man into oblivion? Here’s how :
  • The league has never witnessed a freight train who weighs about 250–260 pounds, who speeds up and the down the court like a cheetah on the plains of the Serengeti, and who sniffs that rarefied air around the rim. It is reported that he spends about 2 million dollars a year on his body, and he has his personal cryogenic chamber as well as a hyperbaric chamber to speed up his body’s healing process. As a result, LeBron’s otherworldly genetic gifts combined with his extreme dedication to his health have allowed him to dominate the league at this stage of his career.
  • He has expanded his offensive repertoire:
Like any dominant athletic star, LeBron came into the league with only one huge question mark looming over him: his jumpshot. His lack of shooting ability was a big reason why the cavs were unable to secure even 1 game from the spurs during the 2007 finals; Greg Popovich literally dared him to shoot and his strategy worked. So over the years he has honed the ability to keep defenses honest, and he has even added a nasty post fade-away that made Raptors fans cry. LeBron without a jumpshot is scary but LeBron with a jumpshot is literally a GOD.
  • Cleveland really sucked last year:
With Kyrie Irving gone and Kevin Love missing some time with injury, LeBron was forced to carry a heavier load than usual, and this entailed setting up the offense, controlling the tempo, getting rebounds and scoring when the team needed him to do so. This is turn assured that LeBron’s 2017–18 campaign would be filled with career highs in areas like rebounding, assists and subsequently, triple doubles. The cavaliers were awful to begin the 2017–18 campaign, then some trades were made which were supposed to improve the roster drastically. However, the new pieces weren’t utilized to their full potential so cleveland had to turn to its only glimmer of hope to lead them to the promised land.
How did LeBron respond? He did so by lighting up the playoffs with averages of 34, 9 and 9. He also had a mind-numbing eight 40+ outings during these playoffs, all while crushing hearts with two buzzer beaters. How then can you justify a man dropping 51 points in an NBA finals game and still losing?
YEP. THIS JUST ABOUT ECHOES MY EMOTIONS ABOUT ONE OF THE GREATEST INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES WASTED AWAY BY A LACK OF BRAIN CELLS.
In all, one has to realize that LeBron isn’t your typical run-of- the mill star; he is in the discussion for the exclusive G.O.A.T title. So it shouldn’t be startling to see him dominate for another 3 years or so. He’s just that good.
