I mean really, Bangladesh have improved by leaps and bounds from when they first burst on the cricketing scene. I could pick so many instances, like them beating South Africa, India or even Australia. These are all that you’d expect from a proper answer.
But Naagin Dance. After beating the home side
Really Bangladesh what were you thinking?
This pick probably encapsulates Bangladesh’s current condition. They’re good. They’ve got amazing players like Shakib, Tamim, and Mustafizur. They’ve got a great leader in Mashrafe Mortaza. But when things like these happen, you would think they are rude, apathetic and egoistic.
At that point, whoever praised their rise to stardom, walked away. This was utterly distasteful. They’ve got to learn how to celebrate and how to behave on the field. You aren’t playing for a local club team. This is a country you’re representing and you are its ambassador on the global taste.
But if they move on, to become a better team, this would be a turning point in Bangladesh Cricket. They will complete the transition from skillful boys to mature men.
Don’t hate on me. I’ve enjoyed seeing their rise, but the Naagin Dance was something I did not expect.
